Thanks a lot Emily. I wasn't sure if people would find this photo interesting. Since you're an "art collector" you may want to know a little about the 'piece.' The arrangement (although I moved a pawn do to reflection problems)is based on a game played in the 17th century between Captain Cook and Philidor. I picked this game, since it emphasized the importance of the pawn.
-- yes emily, I know, I am a nerd...and proud of it.
yet, given how quickly you resolved my man o'war/man of war question, i shouldn't be surprised. nope. not in the least.
and i'm not really an art collector. i did buy a print that i love from a friend of mine this summer, but that's about the extent of my collection. i'm just a newbie, i suppose...

i wanted to post a comment for two reasons:
1) so that you get a comment from someone other than your mom, your sis, or krista; and
2) i really like this image. i'll add this to the list of george's-photos-that-i'd-like-to-get-prints-of
seriously -- i'm an art collector now, did i tell you? you'll be the prize photographer in my living room gallery!
