I think this is good, but I also think it would be interesting if you cropped the patching out and just had the seven "things" on the brick.

This is a very cool picture. I like the slight curves in the string of seven as well as the wires contrasting on the linear pattern of the bricks. I also like this picture against the black background of your blog more so than if opened on its own because the black brings down the picture's brightness. The white background that appears when you open the picture alone minimizes the focus on the "seven" due to the brightness of the brick.
