Still Life - Fruit 01

Well, I am officially back in Pittsburgh. So the long wait is finally over, as I am now able to post new photos. ...And boy do I have a treat in store. While in St. Louis, I went to the Art Museum several times, and I decided that I really need to begin working on still lifes. Using home odds-and-sods, I will be expanding and experimenting with still lifes. Over the next couple of days, I will be posting a series I took yesterday. Enjoy!

This is much better than your earlier fruit still life. I like the perspective better. Your next one is great too. I'm fascinated by very up close, detailed pictures of everyday things. You get to see things that you normally wouldn't take time to notice.

I love you blog, by the way. Very creative stuff.

Thanks for the comments Sandie! I also love to take macro shots, as the perspective is typically unusual, and often allows the viewer to see something ordinary in a different and unique way.
